Galoxide is a general purpose economical protective coating for use on any type of normally prepared surface so long as it is clean and dry. It is mainly used on farm buildings, hay barns, sheds, weathered galvanisd metal structures of all kinds and iron or steel surfaces which are clean and free from rust. It is lead free to the BS 3443 code of safety requirements. Before preparing any surface for painting, read the Safety, Health & Environmental information on page 2 about old lead-based paints.

Water Resistance:
Resistant to the levels of atmospheric humidity present in normal interior and exterior environments and will withstand repeated washing. Not suitable for use on immersed surfaces or where there is very heavy and prolonged condensation. Heat Resistance: Generally resistant to heat up to 90°C.
Surface Preparation:
Surfaces must be clean, dry, free from all defective or poorly adhering material, dirt, grease, wax etc. Remove rust or scale by chipping, scraping and wire brushing. New Galvanised surfaces should be allowed to weather for at least 6 months before painting.
