Product Information

A versatile peracetic acid disinfectant which can be added to final rinse for sterilisation of the plant. It can also be used for cluster dipping to help minimise cross contamination between cows during milking. Non -foaming and non-tainting it is effective at low temperatures and degrades to harmless by-products.

USE: General disinfection, Cluster dipping of dairy cattle, Milking parlours & direct expansion tanks

DILUTION:  0.5% through a pressure washer, 0.5% Change solution regularly as soiling takes place. Make up new solution every 24 hours, Final rinse up to 0.1%. There is no need to rinse after using VIRODOX

NOTE: NOT TO BE USED AS A TEAT DIPPING OR SPRAY SOLUTION 

Dosage: 0.5, 0.1

Dilution rate: 1:200, 1:1000

ppm Peracectic acid: 250, 50

Caustic residues from pre-cleaning should be removed to avoid loss of efficacy. Avoid contact with mild steel or galvanised equipment or utensils and soft metals such as brass and copper. Aluminium alloys are not attacked by dilute working solutions. Peracetic acid may affect certain types of rubber when used over a long period of time.

Storage:

Store upright in original container in a cool, well ventilated area, away from direct sunlight, sources of ignition, alkalis and organic solvents.
