Growing Information

Sow your Seeds from January to December. Easy to grow in an egg shell. Get an adult to clean out the shell after you have finished your boiled egg, decorate with your funny face stickers and make some plasticine feet to hold your egg upright. Either add moist cotton wool or damp soil to the shell, sprinkle your cress seeds on top. Place your egg on a sunny windowsill and watch the cress grow in just a few days! Make sure to keep the cotton wool or soil moist. Watch how the cress lean towards the sunshine as they grow. When your cress is tall enough to hold (about 5cm) get an adult to snip some off to add to your sandwiches and salads. Ready to eat from 5 days from sowing!
