Pollinator Friendly Plants to Promote Bee & Pollinating Insect Populations

All pollinators need help!

Pollinators need flowers to feed on from Spring through to Autumn

Pollinator-friendly plants for YOUR GARDEN

Our pollinating insects are in decline. One third of our bee species are at risk of extinction. By choosing pollen-rich flowers for your garden, you will help provide much needed food for our Bumblebees and other pollinating insects as well as creating a beautiful colourful garden. There are lots of pollinator-friendly plants to choose from.

5 Additional things we can do to help support pollinators

1. Maintain native flowering hedgerows

2. Allow wildflowers to grow around the farm

3. Provide nesting places for wild bees.

4. Minimise artificial fertiliser use

5. Reduce pesticide inputs
